About

This is a work in progress, a series of articles/blogposts and driver logs documenting my experience as a rideshare driver in San Francisco. I started driving for Lyft in March, 2014. In May, I started driving for Uber as well. I have logged almost 3,000 rides in that time over both platforms.

All opinions expressed are obviously my own. Names and distinguishing characteristics of passengers have been change and/or altered.

In case you're wondering, I have been involved with publishing as a writer, editor, designer and publisher for over fifteen years. Which means, I'm usually broke and always looking for a way to fund my passion. I've released multiple zines under the name Piltdownlad, a novel called A Masque of Infamy, and I have a new book, How Punk Rock Saved My Life, scheduled for release in January, 2016. If, for some reason, you want to know more about me, you can check out my personal website: www.kellydessaint.com.

Thanks for reading. And feel free to leave comments.
